Because of this, I seek to create a safe, trauma-informed environment for everyone who enters my office. My goal is to help clients cultivate healthy relationships with the most vulnerable parts of themselves by emphasizing self-compassion and exploring how painful past experiences are impacting them in the present.
At the center of my therapeutic work is the belief that all “symptoms” are adaptations our brains and bodies have used to protect us and keep us safe from pain and suffering. Working with me, you can expect to honor those survival skills while learning more functional, longer-term ways of coping.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-T) with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School. I earned my BA in Music from Friends University. My approach to therapy is informed by Relationally-Focused Psychodynamic Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Feminist Therapy.
I specialize in working with:
“People Pleasers” who want to learn to set boundaries, increase their emotional awareness, and decrease anxiety
Those processing Spiritual Abuse, Religious Trauma, or faith deconstruction (Learn More)
Those looking to improve their embodied awareness through somatic practices
Young adults struggling with life transitions
I am open to clients ages 16+ for individual and couples counseling.
I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and strive to be anti-racist and anti-colonial in my therapeutic work.
